On May 9th, 2013 we were contact by another non-profit that is also claiming to be owed money by Acteva. Rebecca asked to be add to list of non-profits that used Acteva for event management and has yet to be paid.
Rebecca is claiming to be owed $13,000 from an event from Febuary, 2013. They are a small non-profit so that is a lot of money to them. They have tried on several occassions to contact Acteva. Rebecca has emailed and called Claudio Vega and Louise Gafner on several occassions and she is not having any of her calls returned.
Recebba’s story is one we have heard several times. Non-profit signs up for Acteva’s event management services. ACteva collects the registration and payments. Event day comes and goesa and the non-profit makes several inquires to get paid and gets ignored.
Rebecca reached out to us and we replied back to her. We have already exchanged a few emails. What a concept. We provided Rebecca with the proper steps to take and recieved the following reply back, “thanks, this gives me some hope. Please use my story.”
If you are one of these non-profits that signed up to use Acteva for event management services and they owe you money, contact us. You are not alone and we will provide you assitance to help you.
Rebecca just informed me today that she has yet to receive a check that Claudio Vega promised had been sent out 2 weeks ago. Acteva is continuing to ignore her calls and emails again. Acteva is taking major steps backwards and keep digging the hole.
