If Pankaj Gupta thought I was a big problem, he better stop looking for more Acteva stories. I noticed a new traffic source yesterday. I had 30 visits from one site. I had to stop and take a look to where my traffic was coming from. It turns out that one of Acteva’s former clients not only is trying to raise funds but is also linking me to me. I now have a little under a hundred visits from one site.
Today, I was alerted to another event that had to suspend their registrations. Who were they using, yep you guessed it, Acteva. Not only did they announce that they had to suspend their registrations, but they detailed the reasons why. They are claiming there was a double charge for a credit card and Acteva did not respond to their calls or emails. Luckily this time, they lost a client. The client has gone else where and has restarted taking new registration.
Why should Pankaj Gupta worry?
Groups are no longer remaining quiet. People are started to publicly out Acteva on their sites or of friends. That first post that is driving traffic has been shared over 500 times now. That post went live prior to the holiday weekend. It is picking up steam now. People are now finding their voice and speaking out about Acteva. I don’t have to monitor the BBB count any longer, each time it gets updated, I get an email from a concerned citizen. This same concerned citizen emails events to warn them about Acteva or emails me to warn them. Pankaj has been blind to the fact that former clients are still watching and monitoring them.
Its only matter of time until more sites pop up publicly shaming Acteva. A new precedence was started over the weekend, with a man buying a promoted tweet to bash British Airlines. Its could be a matter of time until a FB ad or promoted tweet is bought to shame Pankaj Gupta.
